Movie night and final weigh-in 1-22-2010

Join us Friday January 22nd for our pre-derby movie night. This year we'll be playing Up for our our wilderness explorers ... er, cub scouts I mean.

Also we'll be doing the final check-out on the track and checking in any last minute cars.

The Webelos group will be working on their Leave No Trace advancement.

Movie will start at 6:30pm, try to arrive before lights out.

Every car needs a garage

On Saturday, February 6th the Glastonbury Home Depot will be having their monthly kids workshop. This month the project will be this handsome car display, perfect for the derby car you will be racing next week.

Derby weigh-in nights next week

Reminder, we have the weigh-in nights on Tuesday January 19th & Thursday January 21st. Cars will be weighed and collected if they are ready. We will do a limited number of weigh-ins on Friday the 22nd but this is also movie night and the time we test the track so please do not wait till the last minute.

There haven't been a lot of of updates the last few weeks, we'd like to say the pipes that compose the internet froze but it was actually just being busy around the holidays. Look for some information on the upcoming Pinewood Derby as well as the Blue and Gold banquet coming up.
